- Rinse thoroughly: Fill the tank with fresh water only. Run several full brew cycles to flush out any remaining descaling solution. Taste the water from the group head; if it tastes clean, the rinse is complete.
- Final flush and wipe: Run a final cycle with fresh water, then wipe the group head, portafilter, and drip tray with a damp cloth. Never descale with coffee grounds in the portafilter—remove them first.
