58mm Gen 2 Bottomless Portafilter

The Meraki 58mm bottomless portafilter combines a stainless steel body with a wood handle and an open view beneath the basket. Watching the extraction directly can help you identify uneven flow, spraying or early blonding while refining grind and puck preparation.

Evelyn ★★★★★

Watching the espresso fan out and channel through the bottomless basket is oddly mesmerizing, and the stainless body feels solid in the hand. It’s a bit heavier than my old one, but that gives it a nice, sturdy presence at the machine.

Jacob ★★★★★

The wood handle is perfectly balanced, and watching the espresso flow through the open bottom is oddly satisfying. It's made a noticeable difference in how even my extractions look.

Julian ★★★★★

Switched from a plastic-handled one and the difference is night and day; the wood feels solid and the stainless body doesn’t heat up as much. Seeing the extraction through the open bottom is a game changer for dialing in.
