High-Flow Basket – A straight-walled basket that does not come standard with the Flair 58 or the 58x. This basket requires a finer grind to achieve proper extraction but the straight walls will extract more evenly, resulting in a high clarity shot. Used most often with light and medium roasts.

I was skeptical about needing a finer grind, but once I dialed it in, the flow through those straight walls is noticeably more even and my shots just taste cleaner. It's a bit of a learning curve if you're used to the stock basket, but worth it for the extra clarity in the cup.

The straight-walled design really changed my workflow—puck prep feels more consistent now. It took a few shots to dial in the finer grind, but once I did, the espresso clarity was noticeably better. No more channeling issues like with the stock basket.

I had to dial in my grind a bit finer than usual, but once I did, the flow was noticeably more even and the shot tasted cleaner. The straight-walled design really does make a difference in extraction.
